Library Vision

The Etiwanda High School Library and Maker Lab equips EHS students with multiple literacies for college, career, and citizenship. The library supports curriculum plus student interests with print/digital resources, special programs, and access to technology.
  • Information literacy lessons give students tools to efficiently, responsibly, and effectively access and use information.
  • The library builds community and provides a safe haven with music/games Fridays, Calm Corner, Best Buddies Halloween Bash, Open Mic Night, Mental Health activities, and more.
  • The library promotes both cultural and academic literacy with a high-quality, diverse, up-to-date collection of literature and nonfiction. Students can see themselves represented in our community as well as empathize with others from different cultures or experiences. Students wanting to advance beyond the classroom can pursue their personal interests and curiosity.
  • The Maker Lab provides a space for creativity, exploration, trouble-shooting, and collaboration. With the opportunity to access design software, maker technology (3D printing, Logic Pro X studio, midi keyboard, audio interface), and maker equipment (Cricut, heat press, button maker, etc.), EHS students can grow beyond consumers into future-ready creators.
